Minimal Drilling, Maximum Preservation

One of the biggest advantages of composite bonding is that it is a minimally invasive treatment.

In the vast majority of cases, no drilling of the natural teeth is required. Composite is carefully added and shaped directly onto the teeth, allowing us to improve their shape, symmetry and overall appearance while preserving your natural tooth structure.

Occasionally, where genuinely necessary, a very small amount of tooth preparation may be recommended to achieve the best possible cosmetic result, improve the bite or, in suitable cases, help avoid the need for aligner treatment beforehand — potentially saving you additional time and treatment costs.

This would only be carried out where your dentist feels it is necessary and beneficial. We will explain this to you beforehand, discuss any suitable alternatives and only proceed with your consent.

Our priority is always to achieve the best result while preserving as much of your natural tooth as possible.
